Revenues generated from Cambodian exports to China fell by 10 percent in the first half of the year, according to figures released by the Ministry of Commerce last week.
About $60 million worth of goods were exported from Cambodia to China between January and June, the figures show. …
The largest type of goods exported to China was garments, with $23.3 million generated from garment exports and $5.1 million from footwear (…). The exports also included 665 tons of rubber, bringing $2.3 million in revenue, and 499 tons of milled rice, which brought in $466,000, the ministry said.
Cambodia’s exports to China are overshadowed by imports, which made up the bulk of the $2.5 billion of trade between the two countries in 2011. …
